Frequently Asked Questions
Practical answers for choosing décor with personality—and knowing what to expect before it arrives.
Orders, Shipping & Rush Processing
How do I place an order or ask a question?
Shop online, or email mojo@interiormojollc.com for product guidance before ordering.
When is shipping complimentary?
Complimentary economy shipping is available on domestic orders over $150. Review the shipping total before completing checkout. Contact us before ordering if your destination or delivery needs require a special quote.
When will my order arrive?
Many items are made to order. Review the product listing and your confirmation for its current estimate. Production time and carrier transit time are separate; estimated dates are not guaranteed. Ask us about your deadline before purchasing.
How long do different collections take?
Framed art and standard Vintage Vinyl® generally require approximately six weeks of production, subject to availability. Designer Throw Pillows generally require six to eight weeks. Preserved Botanicals vary by item; contact us for the current delivery estimate. Individual product estimates and confirmed order details take priority.
What does rush processing cost?
Available rush processing costs 6% of the order subtotal. Email us before ordering so we can confirm eligibility, timing, and the fee. Rush production does not automatically include expedited carrier shipping.
Can every item be rushed or ordered through Quick Ship?
No. Custom art and vinyl cannot be rushed; acrylic and MDF items are excluded from Spicher rush production. Quick Ship applies only to designated available items. Ask us to confirm eligibility and timing before paying.
Will I receive confirmation, and when do I pay?
Review your checkout payment terms and emailed order confirmation carefully, including sizes, colors, quantities, personalization, address, and estimated timing. Contact us promptly about errors or a missing confirmation.
Can I change, add to, or cancel an order?
Email us immediately. We must confirm whether production allows the request; do not assume a change or cancellation has been accepted until you receive written confirmation.
What about backorders, direct shipments, special fees, and international delivery?
Items may ship directly from a production partner and arrive separately. Contact us about backorder options, oversized deliveries, special labeling, Alaska, Hawaii, or international orders before purchasing. Any applicable quoted charges require your review; supplier wholesale fees are not automatically your retail charges.
Returns, Damage & Order Problems
Can I return an item?
Many items are made to order and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Email us before sending anything back. An exception requires written authorization and may carry a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping and handling. See our Return Policy.
What if my order is damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete?
Inspect immediately and email us as soon as possible, preferably within three days, so we can meet supplier claim deadlines. Include your order number, item information, and clear photos of the item, shipping label, box, and packing. Retain all packaging. Note visible freight damage on delivery paperwork and report carrier damage promptly.
Are custom, rush, closeout, or international orders returnable?
Custom and personalized merchandise is final sale for change of mind. Rush, closeout, overstock, and international items may also have supplier-specific exclusions. Ask us before purchasing. Contact us about damage or defects regardless of a change-of-mind exclusion.
How are authorized returns and refunds handled?
Obtain written return instructions first. Use the specified destination and protective packaging; items must meet the approved return conditions. We will confirm applicable deductions and refund timing after review. Do not ship directly to a vendor without authorization.
Art Series, Personalization & Gifts
How do I choose art that feels personal?
Start with subjects connected to your interests, experiences, memories, or the impression you want to make. Check dimensions, framing, materials, and hanging details on each listing. Choose signed editions where specifically identified.
Can I personalize art or a vinyl design?
Customization is item-specific. Many Classic vinyl designs permit changes; WILLIAMSBURG and Morris & Co. do not. Artisanry permits proportional resizing only. Ask us about your exact design, size, and message before ordering.
Will I approve a custom proof?
Where a proof is required, production begins after written approval. Check every detail carefully. Proof preparation and approval affect timing. We will confirm any customization charge before you proceed.
Can I order samples?
Ask us about available pattern sample sets and retail pricing before ordering. Individual colorway samples may not be available.
Vinyl Mats & Rugs: Use & Care
What are Vintage Vinyl® floorcloths made of?
Two-ply vinyl with latex backing, approximately 1/16 inch thick. Ask us for manufacturer documentation if you need specific slip, fire, ingredient, or UV specifications; suitability depends on placement and use.
Can I use them outdoors or install them permanently?
Use indoors only, including avoiding screened porches and covered patios. Floorcloths are loose-lay décor, not permanent adhesive flooring.
Which floors are suitable?
Use flat, even hardwood or tile; avoid carpet and uneven surfaces. Wide grout increases puncture risk. Treated floors must be fully cured. Extra rug pads are not recommended.
How should I clean and protect them?
Dust-mop, then damp-wipe; use diluted hand soap if needed and rinse. No vacuums, scrub brushes, dish soap, abrasives, or harsh cleaners. Wipe spills promptly. Use 7/32-inch felt furniture pads; avoid dragging furniture and sharp heels.
Why do colors or finishes vary?
Vintage distressing is intentional; manufacturing can produce color differences. Review samples where available.
Will a vinyl mat prevent falls?
No floor covering guarantees fall prevention. Keep the floor and mat clean, dry, flat, and appropriately positioned; check clearance and mobility needs before use.
Plantox: Preserved Botanicals
What is Plantox?
Plantox is Interior Mojo’s name for the preservation approach behind our Preserved Botanicals: real botanical material treated to retain its decorative appearance without the routine care of living plants. It is a brand nickname, not a medical treatment.
Are all botanical arrangements entirely real?
Preserved botanical material is real. Some arrangements or other botanical products may contain artificial accents or mixed materials. Check the individual listing or ask us about a specific piece.
Do Plantox botanicals need watering, sunlight, or pruning?
No watering, fertilizing, or pruning. Display indoors, away from direct sun and humidity; dust gently with a feather duster or cool, low airflow.
How long do they last?
Manufacturer expectations vary: florals 3+ years; junipers, bonsai, and palms 7+; eucalyptus 10+. Conditions and handling affect longevity; these are not guarantees. Mojo’s own longer-lasting pieces illustrate personal experience.
Can moisture affect them?
Yes. Humidity can cause preservation liquid to seep. Keep away from water and protect nearby finishes. Natural leaf and color variations are expected.
Are they suitable around children and pets?
These are decorative arrangements, not food or toys. Suitability depends on the species, container, accents, and placement. Ask us for item-specific information and display out of reach where needed.
Do they clean indoor air?
We do not claim that preserved arrangements purify air. Their purpose is lasting botanical décor.
Can I request a custom arrangement?
Email your dimensions, preferred colors, and intended location. We will confirm available options, pricing, and timing; approved custom pieces are final sale.
Designer Throw Pillows & Choosing Your Décor
What is included with a pillow, and how do I care for it?
Check the individual listing for dimensions, fabric, insert, closure, and care instructions. Do not assume every pillow has the same construction or cleaning method.
How does Interior Mojo use neuroaesthetics?
We use the study of aesthetic experience as a perspective for choosing décor with personal meaning, sensory appeal, and intended expression. Responses vary; individual products are not proven treatments or guarantees of a particular brain or health outcome. Explore The Science.
Can I coordinate pieces across collections?
Yes. Begin with one meaningful piece, then connect supporting colors, patterns, subjects, and materials across Art Series, Vinyl Mats & Rugs, Preserved Botanicals, Designer Throw Pillows, and Personalized Decor & Gifts.
Where are products made?
Interior Mojo is an American business featuring American-made décor. Review each product’s origin and materials; contact us if you need confirmation about a specific item or component.
